Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan and Elding : We took two boats out this afternoon because of how many passangers we had. the wind had gotten a little bit stronger but the weather wasn't so bad. and as the tour went on, it only got better. We had only sailed for a hour when we saw the White-beaked dolphins and the first Horbour Porpoises, and very soon after that a blow from a Minke Whale, the bay was crowded with life today! The Harbour Porpoises were so interactive and came so close to the boat, it was amazing to see them so close! All of the species were busy hunting, right in the surface of the ocean. We saw around 5-6 Minke Whales but it was hard keeping track of them because they were moving very fast and constantly changing direction, but we got a pretty good look at them for a few times. What an amazing day out in Faxaflói bay !

Tour at 9:00 Report from Hafsúlan: We went out today in a nice and calm weather although the sun wasn't shingin. We started with going to Akurey, one of the puffin islands to take a look at the newly arrived puffins. After we left the Island we sailed for about 20 minutes and then we saw some Harbour Porpoises, and soon we realized that they were all around us. while we were following them we saw a blow from a Minke Whale, we saw at least 2-3 of them and got to see them surface for a few times. There was a lot of bird life and we saw puffins around the boat and loads of Gannets diving. While we were heading back to the harbour we saw some White-beaked Dolphins, they were so beautiful and a made the perfect ending to a great tour !

Birds seen on todays tours include: Puffins, Northern Gannets, Eider-Ducks, Herring Gull, Cormorants, Manx shearwater, Black Guillemot, Common Guillemot, Brent Geese, Kittiwake and Fulmars
