Report from Eldey: The sea conditions were even calmer on this tour, so we had more less smooth sailing the whole three hours in beautiful lighting. The birds in the bay were plentiful and so were the whales. We managed to see around 7 minke whales on the tour. They were surfacing all around us and gave us a great minke show. The colour of the sea and its calmness, together with the relaxed animals... zen.

Report from Eldey: The sea and weather condition were better than thiis morning. The sea was nicely flat and peaceful so it was easier to spot than this morning. We begun the tour with a small pod of harbour porpoise. Those cetacean disappeared fast so only a few passagers could see them. We saw a second pod a few minutes later. The whales were not far because we find 2-3 minke whales a few minutes later. There were surfacing around the boat, sometimes far away sometimes close so we could really enjoy the presence of those animals. When they begun to be hard to spot we continue a bit further and we found another feeding ground of minke whales, with again 2-3 minke whales surfacing around us, and northern gannet plunge-diving. A great show ! During the way back we encountered a pod of 4-5 white-beaked dolphins quietly swimming. We were happy with the tour !

Report from Eldey: The sea has calmed down compared to yesterday, but there was still that pesky overcast following us the whole tour. We sailed in these slightly choppy conditions, with the warm wind coming from the South-East, restoring balance to the Force. We had an interesting tour with plenty of sighting, but also lacking sighting. What I mean is, we saw 4 minke whales and a small pod of white-beaked dolpins, but the animals were behaving quite elusive and we didn't manage to take the best look at them. However, we did enjoy their company, even though it was so brief. What made the tour unique were the insanely close northern gannets that were hovering above our heads. We thought we could show the people a bit more of the cetaceans in this bay so we gave out complementary tickets on this tour for them to visit us again.
