 TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | 13:00

Report from Eldey: The weather improved a great deal after the previous tour. The sea remained calm, the sun was peaking behind the clouds and we felt no sprinkle of rain. Our minke whales however, were not as "cooperative" as on the previous tour, as they were behaving quite elusively, going for long deep dives. Thus, though our passengers had glimpses of our mink whales, we asserted that this tour did not lived up to our standards. Therefore, we provided all our guests the opportunity to come back again with us for free, on another whale watching ride. Hope to see them all again soon.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | 09:00

Report from Eldey:The sea was a bit less choppy than yesterday, but the overcast above our head persisted to this day as well. We did however have a bit of sunshine to send us on our way. It was about an hour when we saw a large flock of feeding northern gannets plunge dive all around us. This was a good sign of fish abundance, but unfortunately we didn't spot any whales in this area. Another half an hour or so to the West and we finally spotted a minke whale. One of 3 actually surfacing around us. It was quite challenging to see them since it started to rain cats and dogs. But we did it! We had a few nice encounters with animals that were quite relaxed and stayed on the surface for a lot of breaths. Another tour another happy ending.
