✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: It was a cloudy gray day in Reykjavik, but still our snowy white landscape could be seen just below those clouds. It was rather windy but the ocean was fairly calm with just smaller wavelets and white caps, so we were out for a comfortable sail. We had been searching for around half of our tours duration when we encountered a pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins. They were very curious and came super close for a few minutes but soon lost interest and seemingly went off to, most likely, search for food. Of course this is wildlife which can chose to do as they want and need and that is what we always respect and what we are about - showing wildlife as it truly behaves when in it's natural habitat. So we simply sailed on and continued our search. Despite not having any other encounters, having seen the dolphins so close, even being able to follow them with our eyes as they were swimming underneath the water surface was a true highlight.
