✔ TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey and Elding: Rain was our companion during today's tour, which is why we went out using 2 boats, ensuring there would be enough indoor space for everyone. Winds were not very strong today and so we faced calm sea conditions and had excellent visibility. And being out with 2 boats also meant even more eyes on the lookout. We really searched resiliently and stubbornly, as there was so much bird activity there must be whales or dolphins around. Sure enough a minke whale was spotted more than 2 hours into the tour. Seems though that this minke was simply occupied with other things and it was difficult to keep up with. This obviously is anything but our standard, thus everyone with us today was given the chance to come on another tour with us for free using a complimentary ticket which we handed out at the end of our tour.

- Viivi and Raul

Birds seen today: eider duck, common cormorant, black-backed gull, northern fulmar, northern gannet, common guillemot
