Report from Eldey and Hafsula: The tour was off to an excellent start on this windy but sunny afternoon! After only 10 minutes of sailing we reached Engey Island and saw lots and lots of birds feeding close to the sea surface and in no time we spotted a few dorsal fins pop up as well: 5-7 white-beaked dolphins! It is rather unusual to find Cetaceans this close to the harbour but clearly there was a lot of fish in the water and the dolphins had joined in this feeding frenzy. They stayed with us for a good while, even jumping and coming close to the boat! Eventually the dolphins started heading away from us and since we always respect the animals and go on their terms, we decided to continue sailing and see what else we could find in the bay today. There was some swell and white-capped waves which so we had to sharpen our eyes even more when scanning the water surface all around us. Despite that, it was just so wonderful to have blue skies again, enjoying dolphins and our breath takingly beautiful surroundings today.
