Report from Eldey: We headed towards the bay against unforgiving winds and tormented swells. This was up to be a proper Icelandic experiences. The crew knew better than to be discouraged by the weather conditions, as we had some of our best encounters on days like this. We took a route that would provide the smoothest ride for our guests and scanned the area intensively. However, regardless the crew greatest efforts, whales and dolphins were nowhere to be seen. Each tour is different and unpredictable as we are depending on wild animals, over which we have no control of. In order to provide all our passengers the chance to come again on another whale watching tour for free, we provided them all complementary tickets!

We are sailing from the Old Harbour in Reykjavík today for the tour at 9:00. WE might end the tour in Hafnarfjörður, so that might add a bit of time to the tour. We are expecting rough seas today, so if your are prone to sea sickness we have sea sickness tablets available at our ticket office.
