Report from Elding: We left the comfort of the sheltered harbour into the windier, chillier conditions of the North Atlantic. We sailed for 45 minutes when a blow was seen from a distance. A humpback whale, we tried to get closer but the whale was on a mission and always popped up further and further away. A few passengers also spotted a minke whale too but not all saw it and after a few surfaces it was gone again. After another 20mins of sailed we found the jackpot spot, 3 humpback whales feeding in an area and super active. We stayed closer to one particular individual that was doing every behaviour under the sun; lunge feeding, rolling, blowing bubbles, tail slapping, tail lobbing and even a breach. Great fun to watch and hard to leave but when time was running out we had to but heading home gave us more surprises including another breaching humpback and a fun, playful pod of 6-8 white-beaked dolphin. A brilliant day on the bay :)

Report from Elding: After yesterday being a little off, we are back to the amazing tours we have been having since starting back up. Clouds and little wind were the perfect pair for a great visibility, enabling us to spot a black back underneath a flock of birds from miles away! As we reached the area, it turned out we had 3 humpback whales, 2 minke whales and a pod of 3 white-beaked dolphins within few hundred meters of us. One of the humpback whales clearly recognized our boat's engine sounds. It immediately felt save with us around and swam as close as 10m in front of us! A super spectacular tour and so much excitement, laughter and chatting on the way back made for a great morning.
