Report from Elding: It was quite shocking for me to be at sea after a day’s break for several reasons. Firstly the weather was sunny for the majority of the tour and that was certainly a great bonus. Another shock was the fact that we sailed some 40 minutes when we spotted cetaceans compared to the usual 70-90 we had the previous weeks. We were among feeding birds and two minke whales. The one whale that we stayed with graced us with it’s presence at times coming up as lose as 10 meters from the boat. We saw probably around 4-5 minke whales during the whole tour. The other part of the trip was reserved for the white-beaked dolphins. There were two groups that we saw of probably 20 individuals in total. They were tricky to follow and elusive at times, but we did however manage to have them playing in front of our boat which was accompanied by the delighted high pitched screams of children and adults alike. A truly nice trip in Faxa.

Report from Elding: We couldn't start the day in a better way, with astonishing weather and better sea conditions. The bay seemed to be steaming with life too as we saw hundreds of gannets plunge diving, and great bird diveristy. Cetaceans were amazing as well as we have been surrounded by many busy minke whales feeding, a total of 5-6 during the tour.
