Tour at 13:00 Report from Hafsúlan: What a great day! We sailed out from the harbour in Reykjavik in a okay weather, it was cloudy but dry and the wind wasn't that strong. We saild for about 40 minutes before we saw a blow ! it was far away but we saw it a couple of times, as we came closer it was obvious, it was a Humpback Whale, we saw him flapping his fluke and surfacing with a blow, then we saw more blows further away and sailed towards them, there we saw two Humpback whales, what an amazing sight, they were so close to the boat, lobtailing and rolling. We watched them for about 2 hours, the ocean was pretty still and the weather nice. We saw at least three whales that have been confirmed but further away we could see many more also we could hear their blows as they surfaced next to the boat, I dont think there is any calmer sound than that !

Birds seen on the tour include : Fulmars, Cormorants, Razorbills, Black-backed Gulls & Eider Ducks-Freydís Ósk Hjörvarsdóttir
