✔ PREMIUM TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  10:00

Report from Þruma RIB: It was so calm and hot in the city of Reykjavik, definitely not as nice out in the bay. Cold and slightly choppy seas which made for a chilly but fun tour. We found the whales in an area in the bay that we haven´t needed to go to for a long time since the whales have been much closer in last weeks. We were very lucky to find them. First we saw a small feeding flock of kittiwakes and then suddenly a blow. A humpback whale popped up, then another blow. Two humpback whales feeding the in same area. They were roughly diving for about 6-7 minutes at a time but once or twice came close to the boat. Very quickly a minke whale surfaced just meters from our bow also. It was great to see so much life in this area but of course we hope they make their way a bit closer to Reykjavik soon.
