✔ CLASSIC TOUR ON SCHEDULE |  13:00

Report From Elding: We sailed on a rough sea today afternoon. A strong wind from the south made our tour complicated, with big waves especially on the way back. There was so many birds spread out that we thought it might be a good day to find whales. Unfortunately no whales where seen during the tour. I could spot 1 white-beaked dolphin surfacing one time that immediately disappeared. We tried our best to find the whales but we were not able to find them. We offered complimentary tickets to our passengers, those tickets enabling them to come back in the next 2 years on a whale-watching tour in Reykjavik or in Akureyri.

Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Elding I. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tour as it is always colder on sea than on land. Due to yesterday's stormy weather the sea is rough so please come to the ticket office and receive a complimentary seasickness tablet if you are prone to get seasick. Join us by booking online or contact us directly for more information (elding@elding.is / +354 519 5000).

We of course ask that all our guests and staff ensure their own hygiene and safety at all times. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and using a hand sanitiser on a regular basis is advised, as well as wearing a face mask when keeping a 2 metre distance from others is not possible. Masks are available for purchase in our ticket office and hand sanitiser stations are located in high traffic areas.
