Tour at 1300 Report from Hafsúlan: We sailed out today in not the nicest of weathers. The sea was ok but it was overcast and it rained throughout most the tour. However, this did not deter our eager passengers who just wanted to be out on the water and enjoy the wildlife. We saw many birds and about 50+ White-beaked Dolphins all in all in their scattered pods. The dolphins were great as we watched them feeding, socialising and resting. A mother and calf were the best as they played around our boat for a long time and it is incredible to see them swimming under the waters surface and see them turning to look up at the passengers looking down. It was just wonderful to watch and we had dolphins pretty much throughout the whole tour.
Birds seen on todays tour included; Gannets, Fulmars, Cormorants, Eider Ducks, Glaucous Gulls, Black-backed Gulls, Razorbills, Black Guillemots and Greylag Geese.
