Report from Eldey: After a few days of storm we were happy to be back on the sea. If there was still some swell probably built by the strong winds of yesterday, the weather was pleasant little wind and a good light and some sun highlighting the wonderful landscape that we have around Reykjavik. We went out looking in some good areas where whales have been seen very often but we did not find anything. We turned towards Akranes and we found flocks of european shags in the water but unfortunately still no cetaceans. It was late and we had to head back to the harbour still hoping to find whales or dolphins but we were unlucky and we could not find anything. We gave complimentary tickets to our passengers to give them the possibility to come back in the next two years for a new free tour, in Reykjavik or in Akureyri, hoping that next time we will meet the whales.
