Tour at 17:00
Report from Hafsúlan: A beautiful tour in the evening light and lots of gannets and seagulls feeding and flying around but unfortunately we only saw one minke whale in the distance twice and another in the distance once, very hard to show the passangers so we gave complimentary tickets in the hope that on the next whale watching tour they come on they would have better luck with the whales.

Report from Hafsúlan: We had grey skies and swells when we headed out this afternoon. We spotted few harbour porpoises on the way out but they disappeared after a short time. When we got a bit further out we saw a very big blow! We waited and waited for this whale for a long time but suddenly we saw a minke whale surfacing in a distance. It could have been the same whale or not, we don't know, but this whale was really nice as it swam along the boat surfacing many times for all of us to see. After looking at some pictures of this whale we noticed that this was our good old friend Peanut! We have seen Peanut every summer since 2007 and it is always good to see a good friend :)
Report from Hafsúlan: A lovely morning to go whale watching sun was shining and the wind not so strong. Unfortunately the whales didn´t feel the as it took us a very long time to find where the whales were hiding. We found one which was very nice when we first saw it surfacing a couple of times about 20 meters from the boat and then it because quite elusive, going for long dives and surfacing very far away. Lets hope they become less elusive in the next tour.
Birds seen on todays tours include; Cormorants, Eider Ducks, Gannets, Fulmars, Black-backed Gulls and Kittiwakes.
