Tour at 13:00Report from Hafsúlan: The wind had slowed down a little since this morning so we had a very beautiful autumn weather and a calm sea. We did not have to sail to far before we saw diving Northern Gannets and when we came closer we saw small pod of Harbour Porpoises there as well. After spending a little while with the porpoises we headed out to see what else we might find in the bay today. After a bit of a search we found a pod of White Beaked Dolphins. These were very curious dolphins coming close to us and we could see them swimming under the surface and coming up close to us. On our way back we stopped to take a look at some more porpoises but after a short while found out that there was also a Minke Whale in the area! This Minke was a bit tricky and stayed under for long but when we had turned to boat to head back it surfaced in front of us few times were everybody could see it. So then we could sail happily back to the harbour after seeing three species of cetacean on the tour!

Tour at 09:00Report from Hafsúlan: We headed out in the refreshing wind this morning but luckily enough the sea stayed calm trough the trip so the condition for whale watching were good. We sailed on for a while before we spotted something but then we saw a big pod of White Beaked Dolphins close by. And what a sight these dolphins gave us! They came very close to us so we could see that they had two calfs with them and one of the adults had a bite mark on the dorsal fin! They were very playful and jumped all around us. When we tried to leave few of them followed us and on stayed in front and jumped completely out of the water many times! It was very hard to leave these amazing dolphins and head back to Reykjavík but on our way back we enjoyed looking at the many seabirds we saw on our way.
