We wanted to try our luck again with the humpback we saw this morning. We sailed for some time without any luck. The wind had picked up a little bit not still the weather was nice. We decided to move to another area. And there it was! The same humpback whale from the morning. And again it was tail slapping and showing us interesting feeding behaviour and interacting with the boat. After some time we wanted to try another area. We saw a blow in a distance and once we got closer we thought we had a minke whale. But then suddenly it breached! Then we saw it was not a minke whale, but another humpback whale! Wow this was just amazing. This one showed us the fluke as well and surfaced few times for us before swimming away. Truly amazing day!

We sailed out in a beautiful weather from Reykjavík harbour. We had to sail for a long time before we spotted a blow. Than about 1 second later a huge splash! It was a humpback whale tail slapping, rolling in the surface and interacting with the boat by swimming under it again and again and slapping the tail. This was really incredible and we stayed with this nice whale for quite some time. Very nice tour!
