✔ CLASSIC TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00
Conditions continued throughout the day making for a beautiful afternoon in the bay. This tour required more patience as flocks of birds showed promise, but ultimately did not deliver. In the distance large splashes were visible. As we entered the area, we waited, hoping to see the animal that was the cause. After some time our patience proved fruitful, as white beaked dolphins begun to approach the vessel and investigate. On our journey we stopped for a minke whale that gently cruised across our path, surfacing neatly on a handful of occasions, before lifting and rolling its back for a dive. A blow of a humpback whale was seen twice nearby, but after a period of waiting, the animal did not resurface unfortunately.

Report from Þruma : This morning weather was very pleasant to go on the bay and look for wildlife, the sea was a bit choppy but our passengers had fun. We started to watch puffins in Engey, some of those adorable were bringing fish to the burrow which probably means that puffling have hatched. We went out in the bay looking for the marine mammals. We saw a blow and try to approach it but the animal was not staying for long at the surface. We stayed patient and could observe the humpback whale surfacing a few times, showing us two beautiful fluke dives.

✔ CLASSIC TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 09:00
Beautiful start to the day with glorious sunshine and calm seas. We headed out into the bay in search of the whales that have been delighting passengers in recent days. Large groups of birds were dotted throughout the bay, feeding and resting on the water and after investigating a few groups we were rewarded with a sight of a humpback whale. The whale floated in the upper layers, looking very restful. Slowly rising and falling to take a breath. While submerged its white pectoral fins were in full view for the guests to see. We were able to get quite close for one round of surfacing with the whale remaining very calm, before we decided to leave the animal alone and head home.
