NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00

Report from Eldey: As soon as we left the harbour this evening, we could already see a very faint arch of northern lights stretching over the whole sky. We headed into the wind towards Esja and soon the auroras had brightened and grown stronger. We could clearly see the green with our eyes and watched the arch grow and merge with a few other arches that appeared over the mountains. The auroras were surprisingly low in the sky today. So low that they were hidden behind the mountains sometimes so it looked like the mountains were glowing! For most of the tour the lights lit up the sky. They only faded at the perfect time - when we had to start going back to the harbour.
