After the safety speech this morning we had already found 3 humpback whales. One of them was extremely close to shore! In the afternoon we soon found three humpback whales in front of Viðey, one of them lifting his pectoral fins above the surface, the other two were busy feeding. We then saw 3 harbour porpoises.

Due to unfavourable weather conditions, we have decided to CANCEL the Northern Lights Cruise tonight!
After 15 minutes of searching in the morning, we eventually found 3 humpback whales and one of them suddenly breached in front of us! Then, in the afternoon we found a humpback whale very close, going for deeper dives. We also saw another two humpback whales and one of them did between 15-20 breaches!!

We had a beautiful night sky full of stars, a few high clouds here and there that always got our hopes up. In the end we sadly did not see any aurora and therefore handed out complimentary tickets to all passengers.
About 10 minutes after we left berth this morning, we saw a seal and blows belonging to 2 humpback whales, one was doing peduncle throws and then it breached three consecutive times! In the afternoon we again spotted 2 humpback whales logging and feeding before finding a third humpback whale closer to the shore.

We sailed out with clear star filled skies and very calm seas! Unfortunately the lights never appeared in the sky and as we got back to the harbour, we offered complimentary tickets to all our passengers for a second try!
A huge cloud of smoke from the most recent volcano eruption made for the perfect backdrop today. This morning we found three humpback whales! In the afternoon it didn't even look like a winter day in Iceland; no clouds at all and 3 humpback whales all around - one was so close we could almost feel its blow on our faces!
This morning we sailed out under a glorious sunrise, the sky was orange and the mountains were pink. We eventually found a humpback whale and a few grey seals! In the afternoon we spotted a blow not 10 minutes into the tour - we had found our first of 5 humpback whales! We also saw a grey seal and 3 harbour porpoises.

At the beginning of the tour we could see a faint arch above Esja, and could even see this with our naked eye. As it stayed faint for the rest of the night, we gave out complimentary tickets so everyone can try again!
This morning, we saw three humpback whales within the first 15 minutes of the tour. The whales came up regularly, often showing us their flukes and sometimes even swimming towards the boat. In the afternoon, we didn't have to wait long before we spotted 2 humpback whales and also 2 grey seals that were bottling!

We had a few clouds in the sky, but many gaps in between them and we could also see many stars. However, tonight we were not very lucky and we ended up giving out complimentary tickets to our passengers.

This evening we sailed out under a starry sky. We were patient all evening and the conditions were great, however the lights did not want to come out. We therefore offered complimentary tickets to our passengers!
After some 15 minutes of looking around, we spotted 2 humpback whales side by side, helping each other feed. An amazing start to our day! Soon enough, we found another humpback whale! In the afternoon we spotted 2 humpback whales in the first 10 minutes and then a third humpback whale going for deeper dives!

Shortly after leaving the harbour we saw a tiny bit of green in the sky. The rest of the night we enjoyed hot chocolates and music but were not successful at finding the auroras, so we gave out complimentary tickets!
The first sighting of today were 3 humpback whales swimming on the channel! Suddenly one of them came to the surface and its head emerged completely from underwater. The grey seals were also inquisitive! In the afternoon we first spotted 2 sleeping humpback whales and then we saw 2 more humpback whales!
