CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING 09:00

Report from Eldey: Finally, a little break in the Icelandic snowy weather. We headed out this morning under a sunny and clear sky. At the surface we could feel a slow swell, but there were several white caps that made our search a bit challenging. Even so, we were able to reach an area where 2 minke whales were spotted. However today they were spread out from each other and very focused on spending time underwater, so for this reason we could only see them a few sporadic times at the surface and after a while we had to abandoned the area. As we wanted all of our passengers had the opportunity to see cetaceans a little bit longer and more enjoyable opportunity to observe cetaceans, we offered all of our guests complementary tickets, another chance to try to spot these wild and amazing animals.
