Tour at 13:00
The weather was at its best, no wind at all and good visibility as we headed out on the bay. After 30 minutes we saw a big group of Harbour Porpoises, swimming slowly and came close to the boat several times. Then another group and ten minutes later we saw the first of many groups of White beaked dolphins. Last but not least we spotted a Minke Whale, near the harbour of Hafnarfjörður. Great tour!Tour at 16:30 Believe it or not, but this tour was a copy of the tour at 13:00; same sightings (harbour propoises, white beaked dolphins and minke whales) in the same order. Tour at 09:00
It took us some time to find the first whales today and they were White Beaked Dolphins. Not the most playful we have seen but still came close a few times. After that it was difficult to find anything else. Two times we stopped to see some Porpoises but they disappeared quickly. Not the best tour this spring.
