RIB Boats Tucked Away for the Winter

Our trusty RIB boats have now been sailed back to Njarðvík, where they'll spend the winter months safely in storage. The trip took place in beautiful weather, marking the end of another great season out at sea.

These fast and agile boats have given countless guests the chance to experience whales, puffins, and Iceland’s stunning coastline up close. After months of daily adventures, they've certainly earned a well deserved rest.

While the RIB boats hibernate for the winter, our operations continue with a full schedule of exciting tours. Our Classic Whale Watching tours run year round on our larger boats, as well as offering Northern Lights Cruises, Imagine Peace Tower tours, and even ferry trips to Viðey island on weekends.

We'll be busy preparing for the next RIB season behind the scenes and look forward to welcoming these speedy vessels back on 1 April 2026, ready for another summer of adventure!
