- NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
The sea was calm and skies were partially cloudy. The forecasts seemed promising and while we could observe many stars, we weren't able to see any northern lights. We therefoe handed out complimentary tickets to everyone on board.
We spotted 10 harbour porpoises across 4 pods, followed by a few sightings of minke whales, and a playful pod of 5 white-beaked dolphins in the morning. In the afternoon, we encountered 4-5 minke whales surfacing close by. The afternoon tour saw around 10 harbour porpoises and 6 more minke whales feeding near our boat!

Tonight, we had beautiful conditions, there was no wind, the bay was peaceful and a beautiful moon was shining over mt. Esja. Unfortunately, the auroras did not appear tonight, so we offered complimentary tickets to all passengers.
In the morning, we spotted a minke whale and were later joined by our famous humpback whale Davy Jones. In the afternoon, we saw over 15 harbour porpoises, 4 minke whales, and Davy Jones again. The evening tour treated us to harbour porpoises, multiple minke whales, and Davy Jones showing off with bubble net feeding!

We sailed out in perfect conditions with completely clear skies and calm seas. Despite our patience and efforts, the auroras did not appear for us this evening, so we offered all our passengers complimentary tickets to try again another time.
Today began with a minke whale followed by the familiar humpback whale "Davy Jones II", accompanied by 4 feeding white-beaked dolphins. In the afternoon we spotted 4 elusive minke whales and "Davy Jones II" displayed spy hopping! The evening tour featured more close encounters with "Davy Jones II" and 2 fast-moving minke whales.

The forecast looked promising and we sailed out with high hopes. Unfortunately, the sky remained mostly cloudy the whole tour, and no auroras appeared. So we issued complimentary tickets in the hopes to see all our passengers again another night.
The morning tour featured 2 harbour porpoises and our beloved humpback whale "Davy Jones II", followed by a minke whale. In the afternoon, we saw an 5 minke whales and another humpback whale nearby. The evening tour highlighted 6 harbour porpoises, 3 minke whales, and a very sleepy humpback whale!
The morning began with calm seas and sunny skies. We saw humpback whales and several minke whales. In the afternoon, we spotted a large pod of harbour porpoises, followed by at least 8 feeding minke whales, and concluded with two elusive humpback whales showing their flukes. The evening saw a lunge feeding humpback whale!

We sailed into the night in calm seas and under partly cloudy skies. After some time, we managed to spot the faint glow of the northern lights, however they were not fully visible to the naked eye, so we issued complimentary tickets!

The morning tour saw a couple of traveling minke whales and curious humpback whales, one of whom inspected our boat for 15 minutes! In the afternoon, we spotted 2 harbour porpoises, 3 feeding minke whales, as well as another curious humpback whale. The evening tour also saw a minke whale and a humpback whale.
After escaping the fog this morning, we encountered a feeding minke whale, followed by two humpback whales and a pod of 3 white-beaked dolphins. In the afternoon, we saw a large pod of 15-20 white-beaked dolphins with a rolling humpback whale. Then we saw 3-4 minke whales and even "Davy Jones II" the humpback whale!

The cold wind brushed against our faces, but we found comfort in warm cups of hot chocolate. Right at the end of the trip, the clouds parted and bright green northern lights began to dance across the sky, in an amazing display!
