Across all tours today we were treated to fantastic variety and activity, with sightings of harbour porpoises, playful white-beaked dolphins, several minke whales, and multiple humpback whales. Guests enjoyed everything from calm surface sequences to spectacular breaches, fluke dives and even bubble-net feeding, making for a truly memorable day at sea.

The weather conditions were nice, and we had a beautiful view of the moon and stars. However, after almost 2 hours of search, we had no luck. All our guests were offered complimentary tickets for a change to experience the auroras another time.
Both morning and afternoon tours enjoyed calm seas and great variety, with sightings of minke whales, playful pods of white-beaked dolphins, and multiple humpback whales. Guests were treated to close approaches, fluke dives, and surface activity, making for two memorable trips in Faxaflói Bay. The last tour of the day was unfortunately cancelled.
Today we enjoyed sunshine, calm seas and later some drizzle, with sightings of minke whales throughout the day and multiple humpback whales, from peaceful logging pairs to spectacular breaches, peduncle throws and tail slaps. We also encountered shy groups of harbour porpoises, adding variety to our tours. A day full of energy and activity!

We departed into the bay with a beautiful moonlight, however it turned out to be very cloudy throughout the tour, which meant we eventually did not see any northern lights. So, of course our passengers all received complimentary tickets.
Today we enjoyed calm to breezy seas with sightings of minke whales, playful white-beaked dolphins, shy harbour porpoises and multiple humpback whales. From feeding minkes and curious dolphins to spectacular breaches, fluke dives and other surface displays, the bay truly seemed alive with activity. A fantastic day of whale watching.

Under a starry sky we were treated to faint northern lights that brightened before fading, returning later for a brief but magical show. As the display was short-lived, complimentary tickets were issued so guests can try again.
Under calm and sunny skies we encountered shy harbour porpoises, playful pods of white-beaked dolphins, several minke whales surfacing close, and a number of humpback whales showing fluke dives, breaches, peduncle throws and even bubble-net feeding. With close encounters and lively behaviours throughout the bay, it was a truly memorable day at sea.

Tonight’s calm seas and clear skies treated us to faint northern lights that grew into a bright arch stretching over the bay. With shimmering rays dancing on the horizon, we enjoyed the display all the way back to harbour.
The bay was alive with wildlife as we spotted harbour porpoises, several pods of playful white-beaked dolphins, many minke whales and multiple humpback whales showing off with breaches, tail slaps and feeding displays. The calm seas and sunshine made for excellent conditions, with highlights including close encounters and spectacular surface activity.
