Tour at 13:00

The weather was similar during this tour. We headed out and after searching for a bit we finally spotted the first Minke Whale. It was rather difficult to track it since it got sort of hidden in between the waves when it came up but in this area we spotted at least 3 different individuals and one of them came several times close to us and a lot out of the water so we were all able to see it very well.

Tour at 09:00

We headed out this morning in search for the whales. It was a bit windy so there were many white caps which made the search a lot more challenging. We did find a pod of White-beaked Dolphins. The pod swam around us for a bit, went under the boat and surfaced very close to us several times before we lost it. Close by we briefly spotted a pod of Harbour Porpoises. We then kept on searching and in the distance we spotted huge splashes. These splashes were from breaching White-beaked Dolphins. They were travelling very fast and always breaching again and again. But they went to fast for us to catch up with them.
