Tour at 13:00

Even though the 1 o´clock tour wasn´t successful with the whales it was certainly successful with the seabirds. Just 10 minutes after leaving the harbour we found a flock of feeding Gannets, Fulmars and Kittiwakes. We sailed towards the Hólmsberg cliffs for both tours and got really close to the nesting Kittiwakes and Fulmars. Later on in the tour we also got to see some Manx Shearwaters which were a really nice surprise and one or two Puffins.

Tour at 09:00

We sailed out from Keflavík today due to the westerly wind. We headed as far as we could without going into the heavy swell and after searching for a while we finally spotted a blow. This was a blow from a Minke Whale! It was rather difficult to follow since it usually didn't surface more than twice before going for a deeper dive but all the passengers were able to see it at least once. The seabirds that we got to see on this tour are Gannets, Fulmars, Kittiwakes, Guillemots and a couple of Puffins.
