Tour at 13:00

Report from Hafsúlan: Today we sailed from Hafnafjörður in order to stay sheltered against the wind, though the sea itself wasn´t very swelly and the ride was mostly very comfortable. It didn´t take long before we had our first sighting of the day, we managed to spot a pod of Harbour Porpoise feeding amongst a group of birds. Porpoise are normally very shy but today we got quite close to them, even as we carried on sailing we spotted two more pods of porpoise which were all feeding. It was a great start with so many porpoise all around our boat. We carried on sailing in the hope of finding something bigger and after some time we came across a Minke Whale, this minke was elusive for a while as it kept diving and appearing in different places but it gave us a good look eventually when it surfaced close to us and surfaced 4 or 5 times for an excellent look. By this point we were close to Reykjavík and so we finished the tour there.
