Sightings: We sailed out on a beautiful starry night. No clouds were in sight and we were excited to see what waited for us further out from light pollution. We really had to be patient tonight as we didn't manage to see any activity for a little more than an hour. Finally we were able to see some weak activity over mount Esja and as soon as we were starting to head back this weak arc of green turned into a beautiful northern light show. We had some really fantastic sightings with the lights dancing and changing every few minutes. This activity really took us by surprise and turned a disappointing tour into a really fantastic one. Hopefully everybody went home with smiles on their faces after seeing some great northern lights on a beautiful Icelandic evening.
