Basking Sharks in Faxaflói!

This week we encountered a Basking Shark on our Whale Watching tours. Quite rare, but it happens a few times in summer.

We went out this week on a research expedition to tag Humpback whales and stumbled upon a few more of these second largest fish in the world. One shark we tagged is now live tweeting it's location! Follow @Spekoppurinn on Twitter for updates on it's whereabouts and latest adventures!
