Report from Eldey: Promising activity and cloud cover forecast, it was not a hard decision to go out tonight ! There was still a bit of Northerly winds, so we got few minutes of shaking when leaving the harbour, but overall our excursion was relatively calm, except for few swells when turning the boat. At first the sky was quite cloudy, we had regular clearance there and there, allowing us to see some scarce shooting stars Things were looking quite good on the second half of the trip. The clear area in the sky got bigger and bigger, allowing us to have an immense window above our head, giving so much room for the northern lights ! How frustrating to not have seen anything despite those optimal conditions ! We stayed patient until the end and even stayed overtime to give us all the chances possible, but it did not change the outcome. It left a bitter taste to give complimentary tickets after such great prognostics, but all of our passengers are welcome to try their luck another time with us !
