Report from Eldey and Elding: Due to the high number of passengers, our two boats Eldey and Elding were sent out on our Northern Lights Cruise tonight. The forecast looked quite promising for tonight, with only a few clouds and an activity forecast of 4 on the kp-index. Full of hopes we went out keeping our fingers crossed for an activity similar to Monday or Sunday with amazing lights. However, when we sailed out, the sky was pretty cloudy with only a few holes that allowed us to see some stars. But it is good too never loose your hopes! After about an hour we finally saw some first northern lights activity that soon got stronger and brighter and for a good 30-40 min we enjoyed northern lights moving slowly in the sky. The activity faded away every now and then until in the end it got weaker and weaker, and we decided to sail back to the harbour after this lovely experience!
