Report from Eldey: The day just got more and more beautiful, the colours of the sky and the reflections on the mirrored sea was just so beautiful and definitely one of the most stunning days i´ve ever seen. The weather conditions lately are just insane. We traveled out and enjoyed a nice selection of seabirds namily; seagulls, cormorants, eider ducks, guillemots and razorbills and about 45 minutes later 2 minke whales feeding on a shoal of fish, they were so slow and graceful with their movements and just wonderful to watch. Soon, other whale watching vessels joined us so we coninued our journey and found a pod of 3-4 white-beaked dolphins, they had calves that were very curious and playful as they rode our bow waves and with the still sea it was great to see them swimming just beneath the surface and see them looking up at us as we looked down. Thoughout the tour we came across a few more small pod of white-beaked dolphins and all in all must have seen at least 12-15 with their babies. So cute. We did not give up there as now we traveled north to try to find the humpback whale from yesterdays afternoon tour and we were lucky to see he/she was still around and once again this humpback whale did not disappoint and did not mind us at all, surfacing many times just metres from our vessel. WHAT A DAY!!! still smiling!

Report from Eldey: I am still smiling. This was probably the most scenic day I have experienced out here in the bay. The sea was like a mirror, the full moon up in the sky while the rising sun was making the water and sky appear red. When then we got to an area that was full of birds and wildlife, there was no stopping the smiling, aawwwing and of course photo taking. In this area we first encountered a minke whale and watched it feeding. But as we watched, we saw another minke whale as well as a pod of 8 white-beaked dolphins also coming towards us. And as if we didn't feel happy enough, shortly after some harbour porpoises and yet another minke whale showed up! Wildlife everywhere today, mother nature is definitely in a wonderful mood. As are all of us after this tour.
