Report from Eldey: As we left the harbour, there were more clouds in the sky then expected. But the slight breeze we had pushed them away for us within the first hour, revealing a beautiful starfilled sky. It wasn't until two hours after leaving the harbour that the northern lights began appearing above the mountain Esja. At first they began growing and becoming brighter, giving us hope they'd give us a show. They did begin to fade and we weren't sure of wether to stay and wait or go back to the harbour. Just as we turned the boat, the lights brightened, spread across the sky and started dancing. That made the late night absolutely worth it.
