Tour Status: ON

Tour at 21:00

Report from Eldey: We were on the verge of cancelling our tour this evening but we took a chance and we were sooooooooooo glad we did. We started our tour with clear beautiful starry skies and a strong illumination from the Imagine Peace Tower. A very faint arch to the north was captured on the camera but difficult to see with the naked eye. It started to get a little easier to see but still very faint. Suddenly the clouds came over and the rain started our 150 passengers went inside to get warm and eat a waffle served at our onboard cafetia. The clouds came and went and just as we were about to turn home the skies cleared again and the northern lights shone and danced over head. Many streaks filled the sky and everyone was gasping with enjoyment. Sometimes its definitly worth taking a chance and when those chances pay off it an incredible feeling.

Merry Christmas everyone and a Happy New Year.
