 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 17:00

Report from Eldey: The sun prevailed on this tour as well, but the sea foamed up a bit because of the increasing wind speed we had in the bay. It was quite the challenging tour where we looked all around the bay to see something other than the northern gannets, but only managed to find some cetaceans at the very end of the tour. We spotted around 3 minke whales in different places and going different directions and being different distances away from us. Quite the challenging tour, but worth the wait. The beautiful lighting from the setting sun gave the surroundings a unique glow and the 10-15 harbour porpoises we had all around us on the way back to the harbour were also a welcome bonus. Plus we had a ceremonial puffling releasing stop, where the children from the Vestman Islands helped the lost chicks to find their way to the ocean.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 13:00

Report from Eldey: We still having summer days like today, perfect sea conditions no wind and a lot of passenger looking forward to see the whales. It did not take to long to see this wonderful creatures after 20 minutes sailing we had in front of us a minke whale, surfering many times and everybody had the opportunity to take good pictures. The tour must go on though, so when we arrived to our usual spotting area we had the chance to see exactly at the same time 2 minke whales and 10 harbour porpoises around the boat. It was a really nice expirience that everyone enjoyed.

 TOUR ON SCHEDULE | 9:00

Report from Eldey: "It's a beautiful day, don't let it get away" says Bono, and let it get away we didn't. The sun was shining throughout the tour and the sea was calm. We spotted i don't know how many harbour porpoises on this tour but i would estimate around 20. We saw 2 minke whales in the area 10nm West from the harbour. At times one of the minke whales was 30 m away from us. We managed to spot a small pod of 4-5 white-beaked dolphins. All in all, time well spent l, having a sea adventure with the best weather you can ask for.
