Report from Elding: We sailed out of the harbour with the sea being more less calm and a beautiful moon rising above the city lights. It didn't take long until the camera captured the first "green" of the night. The aurora borealis activity was quite high, but because of the clouds we didn't manage to see the whole extent of the show. It was weak at first, but it grew stronger and soon we could still see the greenish colour all over the Western sky. It even flickered at some point. I'm very satisfied with my first tour of the season, I have to say.
