TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 21:00

Report from Eldey: The night sky was clear as we sailed out. There was little bit of  wind at the beginning but as we got into a more sheltered area, the conditions were just ideal for observing northern lights. Stars were shining and we were eagerly waiting for the show to start. It was not too cold outside, so we were enjoying the calm beautiful night and the city lights of Reykjavik glowing in the horizon. We were sharpening our eyes and trying to spot any signs through our cameras, as the camera usually captures lights before our eyes can. However, the northern lights never showed up and there was no aurora activity despite the forecast. We would still like our passengers to see the incredible phenomena of Aurora Borealis and therefore offered everyone a complimentary ticket allowing to come on an other northern lights cruise for free within the next two years. Hopefully our passengers will keep chasing the lights and have better luck next time!
