TOUR ON SCHEDULE | at 21:00

Report from Eldey: A true wintery, snowy night was falling as we sailed out from the Old Harbour. Clouds were ment to break apart and snowing to stop later on so we sailed out filled with hope. After a half an hour, it did stop snowing and we could capture some green hues behind the clouds on our cameras and see spots of clear sky here and there. Unfortunately, after only 10 minutes of clear, it started snowing again and the sky was fully cloudy making the visibility poor. It was a beautiful night full of snow, a proper winter's sailing experience, just not optimal for observing the Aurora Borealis. Although we gave it time and waited for it to clear up more, the sky just didn't get any clearer despite of the promising weather forecast that we had for the night. This just goes to show that nature is never 100% predictible and we need a lot of patience with natural phenomena such as the northern llights. We hope to see our passengers again soon as everyone got a complimentary  ticket to come again on another cruise for free with us  to try again within the next two years.
