TOUR ON SCHEDULE  | at 21:00

Report from Eldey: Going out on this calm night, it was hard to believe the change of weather that was supposed to be ahead of us. However, there is an Icelandic saying that strong Northern Lights mean there is a storm on the way - so we were excited to find out if this saying is true. After forty minutes our cameras caught the first glimpse of a gren arch, which soon became visible to the naked eye. Although faint, the green hue was obvious. It faded after some minutes, so we simply relaxed and waited for the lights to brighten up again. Unfortunately, the clouds started to pull together, forming a thick grey blanket before the lights could shine in their full brightness. Despite us being happy to have given our passengers their first glimpse at this unique natural wonder, we want to offer them a better one. So complimentary tickets were handed out to return on another northern lights cruise for free during the next two years time.
