NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: This night was surprising. Magic! Captain was guessing 50/50 chance of seeing aurora, I was guessing 70/30 and aurora forecast was 2/9 and mostly clear skies. The night was warm, almost windless, the sea was calm. We passed the Imagine Peace Tower, but we were more interested in what was going on on the other side as the fire vessel had overnight tests. But it is not everything. In a moment I found the Aurora on the other side of the ship. Northern lights showed up above Esja, but it wasn't too strong. In this way, we sailed for two more hours and we were waiting. One of the passengers was showing me his photos when I suddenly heard screams. People screamed because the aurora suddenly became very intense, bright and lit up the whole sky. Then we saw two shooting stars. A night of adventure. It was hard for us to say goodbye because the Aurora was still in the sky, we still heard the music and there was magic everywhere. However, everyone went their own way, and that night will remain a beautiful memory.
