Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

COVID-19: Keep in mind that passengers and crew are asked to ensure their own hygiene and safety at all times. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and using a hand sanitiser is advised.  

Report from Eldey: Today the sea was as calm as it could be after a storm, with a remaining medium swell. We admired the mountains meanwhile looking for the whales. The humpback seen often near Reykjavik was not seen so we decided to go further out. There was a few areas with birds, many northern fulmars but we did not see any sign of a cetacean. During the way back we found a large pack of ice where a grey seal was resting. There was two more grey seal in the same area, one that joined the first seal and another one that was swimming. We went back home sailing close to the coast making sure we did not miss Flak the humpback somewhere and when it was clear we could not find it, we gave complimentary tickets to our passengers.
