Today we will be operating on our lovely vessel Eldey for the 13:00 Classic Whale Watching tours. Make sure to dress appropriately for the tours as it is always colder on sea than on land.

COVID-19: Keep in mind that passengers and crew are asked to ensure their own hygiene and safety at all times. Washing hands thoroughly with soap and using a hand sanitiser is advised.  

Report from Eldey

Today was a bit of a miserable weather kinda day, a fine rain that felt like nothing but got you wet nonetheless,  however most of our passengers are from the UK they were very used to this weather and luckily this doesn’t affect our sighting success so we were excited to have a thorough look for the sneaky humpback whale flak today, we searched all his local feeding spots close to land in the hope he had returned but unfortunately he was nowhere to be seen. We did find some very curious seals, 2-3 grey seals and 1-2 harbour seals and some very interesting birds: red-throated divers, great northern gannets, fulmars, red-breasted mergansers. In the end we offered our passengers complimentary tickets in the hope they will have more success next time.
