This morning started with fluke dives from curious humpback whales and a close encounter with Davy Jones! The bay stayed busy all day with more humpbacks breaching, bubble-net feeding, and surrounding our boats. We also saw acrobatic white-beaked dolphins, quick minke whales, and shy harbour porpoises on this action-packed day!
Calm seas and rich feeding grounds brought over a dozen humpback whales into view, with bubble-net feeding, fluke dives, breaches, and pec slaps galore! Playful white-beaked dolphins appeared on nearly every tour, often in large pods, and some even jumped beside the boat. We also spotted several minke whales and elusive harbour porpoises!
Today featured at least 12 active humpback whales across the bay, with fluke dives, pec slaps, spyhops and even lunge feeding! Several pods of playful white-beaked dolphins swam around the boats, some even escorting us home. Add to that a handful of minke whales and harbour porpoises and we had a truly unforgettable summer day at sea!

What a whale-filled day with over a dozen humpback whales sighted across all tours - breaching, pec-slapping, tail-lobbing and even synchronized fluke dives! Add to that several pods of white-beaked dolphins (with calves), shy harbour porpoises, and a few elusive minke whales, and you’ve got a full Faxaflói showcase. Even the rain couldn’t stop us!
From calm seas to light rain, the day delivered a true spectacle of humpback whales - resting, feeding, fluking, breaching and pec-slapping galore. Curious minke whales, speedy harbour porpoises and playful pods of white-beaked dolphins (some with calves) made every tour a joy. A perfect mix of action and calm across the bay!

From early morning to midnight sun, the bay was alive with humpback whales, including fluke dives, pectoral slaps, and resting behaviour. Curious minke whales, fast-moving harbour porpoises, and playful pods of white-beaked dolphins (some with calves) delighted us throughout. Calm seas and countless encounters made it a day to remember!
Today we enjoyed multiple encounters with active humpback whales, showing off fluke dives, pectoral slaps and surface rolls. Playful pods of white-beaked dolphins and elusive harbour porpoises joined us throughout the day, and a shy minke whale also made an appearance. Rain or shine, we had excellent sightings in every direction!
Today we encountered multiple humpback whales, including Mr. Bubbles, with dramatic breaches, tail lobs and lunge feeding. We also spotted calm and feeding white-beaked dolphins, elusive minke whales and swift harbour porpoises throughout the bay. Rain or shine, we had another classic day with all four of our favourite species! Perfect!
Today brought encounters with at least five humpback whales, including breaching, fluke dives, and curious approaches near the islands. Several pods of white-beaked dolphins and harbour porpoises added variety, while calm seas and sunshine made for ideal conditions. Puffins were also plentiful, adding charm to this fantastic day at sea!
Throughout the day we had 5 encounters with humpback whales, including one breaching, one lunge-feeding, and another resting calmly near Reykjavík. Several pods of up to 14 white-beaked dolphins and around 6-8 harbour porpoises added to the excitement, alongside rare minke whale sightings, including a spy-hopping individual! What a wonderful day!
This morning we saw a playful humpback whale, a spy-hopping minke whale and even a few shy harbour porpoises. The afternoon brought sunny views and a calm humpback whale with close surfaces and beautiful white pectoral fins. In the evening, another humpback whale and a pod of white-beaked dolphins capped off a long but rewarding trip!
This morning we found a sleepy humpback whale that surfaced close to the boat, before waking up again as we headed back home. The afternoon featured two playful pods of white-beaked dolphins and a brief minke whale sighting. In the evening, two lively humpback whales (including mr. Bubbles) and a pod of dolphins made for a spectacular end to the day!
