Report from Eldey: Finally back to the sea! We sailed out with high motivation for spotting some sea life. Today the wind was coming from the south east but at the surface of the ocean we hadn't a lot of waves. The sun was shinning over the mountains totally covered by snow. Perfect conditions for searching. Heading North, we found different flocks of seabirds, like fulmars and seagulls, around some fishing boats. On our way we spotted quite fast 3 Harbour porpoises, but they disappeared quickly. After that we continued observing more and more birds around. A good indicator of the presence of food in the area, even we could spot it at the fish finder. After a while prospecting that area we couldn't spot anything more and we had to starting our come back trip. After all of our efforts we offered to our passengers the complementary tickets for them having another opportunity to try a whale watching tour with us. Every tour is totally different and nature is unpredictable. As many times we sail together, much better!
