CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00
Report from Eldey: The weather was great with clear sky and the sun shining as we went out. Even though the wind was blowing from the north-east, we had a great time on the water. Lots of sea bird and 10 harbour porpoises were spotted but since they are of the shy kind and the wave high, sightings were tricky. We needed a sharp eye to spot the smallest of our whales among the waves. All together it was an awesome day that just lacked the sighting of larger whales. So we offer complementary tickets to our guest to come out on another tour with us to search for the whales.

Report from Eldey: The weather was sunny but quite windy while sailing out the harbour. We found shelter by sailing under Esja mountain and passing by Lundey, the Puffin Island, on our way. From there we followed the coast and entered Hvalfjörður to look for the whales which the fjord takes the name from. This was the windiest part of the trip, and unfortunately we found no whales in the bay. However, on our way out we crossed path with 5 cute harbour porpoises. Despite their skittish nature, we could get quite a good sight of some of them, though short. As we could have a good sight of any whales during this trip, we gave out complimentary tickets.
