NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 22:00

Report from Eldey: With calm seas, a light breeze, and gaps in the clouds we set sail, excited to see what the night would bring. As we sailed out, we first admired the city lights, learned about Harpa and the Sun Voyager, before leaving the skyline behind and continuing into the darkness. Before long, we had a very exciting proposal! Congratulations to the happy couple and many well wishes! After sailing to darkness, the gaps opened and we could start to see stars, a promising sign. It was nice and calm on the water, creating a very nice evening for sailing. While we waited we learned a little about how the northern lights form, as well as some of the myths surrounding the auroras. Unfortunately, the lights did not show up for us this evening, and so we handed out complimentary tickets so that everyone could try again with us another time.
