CLASSIC WHALE TOUR | 09:00

Report from Eldey: We sailed out on a beautiful morning with clear skies. The sky was blue and we were keen to sail out! We so so many flocks of birds and of course double checked to see if they were sharing their food with cetaceans. In the flocks we didn't spot any, but as we continued sailing we saw a big blow! ´Twas a humpback whale! We were with this individual for a bit, and it even fluked a few times. Its always so nice to see the fluke. We didn't want to stay too long and stress the whale, so eventually left the area and enjoyed a nice sunny sail back to harbour.

CLASSIC WHALE WATCHING | 13:00

Report from Eldey: We headed out under beaming sunshine, eager to spot some cetaceans! On a sea filled with white-caps from the wind, and a massive glare from the sun, this was no easy task, but we were up to the challenge! We spotted a large blow in the distance that ended up being not one, but two humpback whales! We stayed with these two busy individuals as they treated us to some nice close looks and beautiful fluke dives. As we spent time with them, the pair spread out, drifting further and further apart, clearly feeding in a very rich area. Satisfied with this wonderful encounter, we started heading back towards the harbour.
