Report from Eldey: We sailed out under sunny skies and calm seas eager to se what nature had to offer. Our fist sighting came really early on our tour close by the Grotta light house. A humpback whale filed us with excitement. It was peacefully cruising close to us, treating us with a sequence of fluke dives. Meanwhile a pod of five harbour porpoises came to join the show. The stayed in the area for quite a while we were impressed from there enormous difference on there size. Later on some splashes got our attention and we went to investigate. It was a pot of six white beaked dolphins, curious and playful individuals that came close to our boat ,jumping even bow riding and playing with the waves that the boat was making. After this amazing moments with the dolphins we continued further out to search of something more. It didn't took long until we came across not one but tow minke whales that were cruising together. We were admiring them until the time was up as is not usual too see minke whales to gather and socialize together.

Report from Eldey: The weather was still as good as could be with flat seas, no wind an a bright sun overhead. During the tour we were lucky enough to spot all of our four main species and to start we spotted a pod of 6 white-beaked dolphins leisurely swimming around and so we stuck by their side for a bit. We then moved further into the bay while passing 4 feeding harbour porpoises to eventually find ourselves a minke whale this was a rather fast travelling individual but regardless we managed to get many good looks! We then ended our tour with a feeding humpback whale, going back and forth emerging multiple times upside down! It also treated us to many flukedives and so we were able to end our tour at a perfect high!

Report from Elday: The weather continued to be amazing. The whole day we had calm seas and clear skies. We started our sail with direction towards the open waters. Our first sighting was a pot of six white beaked dolphins that were playful and curious of our existence. They where coming to our boat jumping close to us filling us with there playful energy. Then a blow. It caught our attention immediately and we went to investigate. It was a big humpback whale that treated us with sequences of fluke dives. after a bit it was feeding and coming up at the surface with is belly up. A breathtaking experience. Not long after we spotted o pod of ten harbor porpoises and we let this individual to have a look at this little creatures. They where so many and so small comparison with the huge humpback whale and they stayed close by for long until we continued our way towards Grotta the light hose of Reykjavik. Close to this area was another humpback whale that was also feeding. We started our way after we admired it for long. On our way back we found tow minke whales that were feeding together and many more harbour porpoises along they way. We came back to port after this non stop show of incredible sightings.
