NORTHERN LIGHTS CRUISE | 21:00
Report from Eldey: We set sail in calm waters, but overcast skies. Still, we were hopeful as the conditions change very quickly here in Iceland. After sailing around the islands, the clouds did part a little, with the moon and even some stars peaking trough the clouds! Unfortunately, we were not lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the dancing lights, so we offered complementary tickets so everyone got a change to come again.

Few natural phenomena are as mesmerising as the aurora borealis. These shifting curtains of colour sweep across the polar skies, painting them in hues of green, pink, and violet. While their appearance may seem unpredictable, scientists have developed ways to understand when and where they might occur and by studying the activity levels, we can estimate the likelihood of seeing them.
